I brought my daughter here so she can be pampered with a mani/pedi before she leaves for her month-long vacation. Of course, I too wanted to be pampered.

Ambiance

Upon entering into the Nail Spa salon, I was happy that the place was cute and girly and had a nice relaxing vibe to it. Its decor was refreshing, and possessed a modern look, with its lengthy white manicure table, accompanied with mustard colored chairs, it was inviting. The white walls, the lighting fixtures white and the wall of nail polish, encased in a white silvery frame, was very pretty.

Staff/Service

When we arrived the reception greeted us promptly and then gave us a clipboard along with a questionnaire to complete. I asked why we need to complete this and she replied by saying that it was policy to have all customers complete it.

So right off the bat, my daughter and I went into the annoyed mode. Seriously? It’s just a mani & pedi. This is not a visit to the Dr’s office. Regardless my daughter took the forms and just did the basics. I didn’t care for it at all.

The receptionist took our coats and led us to the back of the salon to start on our pedicure. Let me tell you how nice it is back there. A golden chandelier dangled from the ceiling and behind the bench like cushion seating was a wall of royal blue softness wall. It was very comfortable and was adorned with little gold and beige cushions, to either place behind your back or on your lap.

We were asked if we wanted anything to drink, we replied tea & coffee.

My daughter’s tea came in an instant. My coffee took what felt like a thousand years.

At one point, my daughter said to me “you didn’t get your coffee yet”, which I said “No”

It finally came, and it was lukewarm. Dead boring coffee, and I’m a coffee lover.

Final Thoughts

Our excursion here was a good one. After all the hiccup when we first arrived, and the coffee incident, the rest of our stay went forward without a hitch.

The girls who provided our services were very nice and attentive and made our stay worthwhile. The place is pretty & girly, just how we like it.

I spent $227 in total, for that amount, I wished my coffee was served hot and on point, just saying.
