For the love of Udon Noodles

So I totally love Udon Noodles, and I want to share with you how to make it like I do! One thing tho, I don’t provide any measurement tools. Why? Because I cook best with by sight and taste and estimation only. Believe me, you do enough cooking by the time you get to my stage, it will be hell easy!

Purchase your items here:

Asian Supermarket

Walmart

This recipe is good for 2 people, double ingredients if more than 2.

Pre-Udon Noodles preparations This meal was made for a Xmas party Just showing ingredients:

Ingredients:

2 packs of Udon Noodles

Your preferred meat (Beef, Chicken or Pork)

1 package of Bak Choy

1/2 pack of Spinach

Onions or Red onions or both (your choice)

Garlic (your choice: powdered or bottled minced garlic)

Chopped Parsley & Cilantro

Maggie sauce (bought from any Asian supermarket )

Vegetable oil

Mushroom flavoured Soya sauce

Chili oil (red in colour spicy oil)

When I cook, I lay out all my ingredients that includes everything you need, to make that entire meal. It’s more organized that way.

While you cut your meat and chop your vegetables, soak the Udon Noodles in warm to almost hot water in a bowl. This softens the noodles and ready it for cooking.

  •  add onions with chili oil and also a bit of vegetable cooking oil to your Wok
  • add your preferred meat when onions are half cooked
  • You are ready to put in your strained  Udon Noodles when your meat is cooked, and achieved it’s nice brown colour
  • Dash an amazing helping of Maggie sauce.  BUT  Mushroom flavoured soya sauce you need not much, bare in mind , soya sauce is salty
  • last but not the lease is your Bak Choy, this will start to limp quickly when covered so once you see its limp, it’s done
  • when your done completing this awesome meal, take off heat and sprinkle chopped Parsley & Cilantro for added kick
  • try to sprinkle a little more olive oil if ur noodles looks a little dryish

****no salt no black pepper added, sauces will give enough salt & spice****

I made such a big batch, It was pretty crazy trying to stir it.
Voila! The finished product!

I hope you enjoy your Udon Noodles!

Remember, you can always add more vegetables to your liking.
