On Saturday July 8th 2023 I narrated the Sistas Calling Production at #agakhanmuseum in #toronto
and it was a beautiful/moving performance 🎭

Through music, dance, poetry & spoken words we brought to light the meaning of violence against women & children via musical theatre presentation; through the experience of one’s survivors journey.

As I stepped onto the centre of the stage and made my bow; I was overcome by such honour.

Honoured to have been on this journey
Honoured to be amongst empowered people
Honoured to be involved in an important cause & conversation

Honoured that people have come to witness our work

And most of all honoured that my family has supported me in this journey from day one.

Thank you all who has joined our journey; and if you can take one phrase from that night, let it be this:
