Hi there! Itโs been a while, hasnโt it? Life has kept me busy, but as we near the end of the year (can you believe next week is 2025?!), Iโm so happy to sit down and reconnect with you all. A lot has happened, so letโs dive in and catch up.
First off, weโve moved back to Toronto. As much as I adored our lake house in Prince Edward County, the upkeep of two homes was quite demanding, both physically and mentally. Now, the lake house is being rented out, and Iโm so grateful for that solution. It means I can focus my energy here in Toronto while still holding onto the dreamy memories of our lake house.
On another note, Iโve made incredible progress in my floral journey! Earlier this year, I officially started my own small floral business, Tessiebelle Florals, and it has been such a fulfilling adventure. To sharpen my skills and keep up with the latest trends, I even went back to school. Re-educating myself has been an eye-openerโnot only for technical growth but also for connecting with an incredible group of like-minded floral friends who share the same vision and passion as I do. Those relationships have truly been one of the highlights of this year.
This past month, I had the joy of visiting my children who live in Europe. I spent time in Ireland, Slovenia, and Croatiaโmore on those travels in a dedicated post (stay tuned!). It was an absolute dream to see them and create beautiful memories.
And now for the biggest and happiest news everโmy daughter is expecting her first baby! There are no words to describe how amazing it feels to touch her growing belly as we prepare to welcome a new little member of our family. With her visiting us for the Christmas holidays, it has made this season even more magical.
Reflecting on this year, I realize how much my life has transformed. From personal milestones to family blessings and professional progress, I am incredibly thankful. These changes have allowed me to move forward toward my life and family goals, and for that, I feel truly blessed.
Thank you for taking the time to catch up with me. Wishing you all a warm, happy holiday season and a joyful New Year. See you in my next post!
Take care,
