Life in Bloom: Journaling my way through Life, Fashion, and Travelโ€‹

Hello February…

So happy that February is here. January didn’t start off too well for me, because I pulled my back, on the 6th day. So annoying!

Are you wondering how I pulled my back? Okay, don’t laugh at me; from getting off the damn couch.

Seriously? Yes, seriously.

Again, how annoying.

Apparently, my doctor said that this is very common and that I really shouldn’t beat myself up about it. He knows me too well.

Even my chiropractor shared me his humiliating story on how he pulled his ankle; doing a yoga pose! He said he was out for three weeks. After his awesome story, I felt less of a loser. LOL

Anyway, enough of that. A new month is always welcome. A fresh start. Deleting all that was negative the previous month and make the current month amazing.

Valentines Day is soon approaching and I still haven’t made any plans. But not to worry I tell myself, I’m a planner and with a drop of a dime, I can make things happen, just watch!

I love to plan my ‘togetherness‘ time with my husband. Meaning I do the planning and his involvement is paying for it. Yay.

Usually, I like to make it a weekend mini-getaway. So that’s what I’m leaning towards.

It’s not all about my husband and me. I make it special for my three children as well, even though they are older now.

Ever since they were young, I always gave them a little something. Because of Valentines Day, I also buy them a card and write them loveย notes as I do for my husband.

To me its a day to show my family how much I love them and appreciate them. Of course, I do this on their birthdays as well, but I feel Valentines Day isn’t just for couples, to me, it’s all about showing love; to all the loves of your life!

Anyone here wants to share their Valentines day tradition? I’d love to hear about them!

Happy planning peoples!
