Momofuku Daisho Review

Went to this awesome restaurant for Winterlicious this year.

Winterlicious is Toronto’s annual prix fixe foodie festival that gives you access to some of the city’s best restaurants at a fairly reasonable price point.

This winter event ran from January 27th till February 9th, the three-course prix fixe lunch menus go for $18, $23 and $28. Dinner will cost you from $28, $38 and $48.

This restaurant is located on the third floor of Momofuko which is glass enclosed.

Ambiance
The moment I walked into this place, I was really excited to sit and revel in the atmosphere. The scenery is beautiful with its long view of University avenue, because its glass-enclosed, it makes waiting for your meal not so bad at all, with cars passing by and people walking up and down the street, it sure will make any impatient people waiting for their meals, patient.

Staff
Host seated us promptly. Servers took our orders quickly and our appetizer, main and dessert were executed in a timely manner. They were very attentive and had a welcoming attitude.

Foodie

Conclusion
My daughter and I enjoyed our lunch here. The food was prepared with love and was very tasty. With its beautiful surroundings, open concept space and vibrant aura, I would return in a heartbeat.

It was a great choice to start off Winterlicious!
