It takes my breath away at times
When I sit here and plug into
A bunch of reveries
I’m gone for awhile
Floating happily away
Seeing and feeling so wonderfully
In la la land
I like it here
So happy in the sounds of heartfelt
Heavy
Words
I’m floating in the air
Listening to every word every sound
As though it were my last
I love the melody
The sound echoing in my head
I mouth the words and close my eyes
I feel every meaning
Every syllable
My heart beats fast
I take a breath
A tiny gasp
Willing everything I hear to set me free
I’m free plugged In
Listening to the music pounding loudly
Into my soul
My core
I sway and dance to the beat
in my mind
I’m twirling round and round
Spinning
Even though I’m sitting still
In reality
