Sip Wine Bar Restaurant Review – August 2020

I discovered thisĀ  Italian restaurant with my daughter one day theĀ  during week and it was so good that I decided to bring my husband back for our dinner date, on the weekend!

So on a beautiful Saturday late afternoon, I slipped into my new red comfy red dress from Zara and headed off to Sip Wine Bar, in the Yonge & Eglinton area in Toronto.

The weather was nice and warm and we dined in and sat by the window; over looking the outdoor patio. We were the only patrons inside , and loved how intimate the atmosphere felt. Four more souls occupied the tables outside.

Beside us was the bar and the staff lingered quietly around it.

We ordered Calzone & Penne a la Vodka pasta.

My husband said that the crust was very light and delicious!

The pasta was tasty and the sauce just right.

This is the pizza my daughter and I had when we first tried this place, you need to order this!

It’s Quattro Formaggi Pizza and we added prosciutto as an extra topping.

We downed our meals with wine and sangria. Though to be honest, I’ve had better sangria.

The customer service was right on. They were pleasant and the food was served with very little waiting. The food is excellent and I will return to try other food on their menu!

After our meal, a few steps south is a movie theatre. Be sure to buy your tickets online and watch a movie, that’s what we did!

The area has many foodie places and stores to pop in and out of. Its a great area for a dinner date!

Here is a link where you can see the theatre and many foodie places you can choose from!
